My name is Olivia Acton and I am a passionate graphic designer that specializes in illustration and marketing designs. I create inspiring memorable designs that leave a lasting impression on whoever sees them. I am currently in the Web and Graphic design program at Davis Technical College. I have loved every part of the program so far and am so excited to get out there and start designing. I have always been a creative person and have loved art and designing things. Before I knew I wanted to go into graphic design I wanted to be a nail tech, I love painting and designing my own nails as well as my friends and families. I still do them in my free time but I have found I can do so much more with graphic design and want to pursue a career designing and creating professionally. I first knew I wanted to pursue graphic design my senior year in high school. At the beginning of that year I was part of a sharktank-like competition where we had to come up with a product and pitch it to some judges. We were tasked with making a logo for our product and my class liked my design. We had a guest speaker that came to talk to us about running a business and his experience with it. My teacher had pointed out that I designed the logo and the guest speaker said that if I was interested in designing I should pursue it. So once I had graduated I looked into the Graphic Design program at Davis Tech and I have loved every part of it so far!
